Proper registration of a yacht is essential for your legal security and highly recommended for every (future) owner, whether private or business. When buying a yacht, an extract from the relevant register gives you information on the property status, any outstanding mortgage and court order as well as data such as the brand, name, layout and engine specs. You’ll also be sure that the yacht has been correctly registered under your name.

We recently helped a foreign yacht-owning company to register its vessel in Holland. The yacht has now been officially catalogued in the B-register of the Kadaster (the Dutch national register for real estate, yachts and ships), giving the owners full proof of ownership worldwide. The whole procedure took just one week and was contracted at a fixed fee.
